This year has been full of transitions: from lowerclassmen to upperclassmen, from different countries, and from living in the dorms to independence.
Having studied engineering in a classroom setting and seeing it at work in a developing country, I’ve been given the opportunity to visit what is arguably the center of modern engineering: Germany
These first days of class have been quite amazing. Coming off of summer jobs and being home–it is a great feeling being back in GR at Calvin College. T-minus four days! What?! I’m having a difficult time expressing all of my thoughts and emotions surrounding this trip. I am so ready, but nervous, and excited, yet terrified. I can’t believe we’re going on such a crazy awesome adventure.
At various times during this summer program, the professors will ask the students to answer some questions on our blog. The students will get to pick and choose which questions to answer. Below is our first official blog assignment.
