From Germany to Europe

For the last six weeks I have had the opportunity to study abroad in Germany at the Technical University of Berlin. The first five weeks were filled with hours of classes, homework, tests, friends, and lots of fun. While we were in Germany, we took a German language and culture course and an Engineering statics and dynamics course for a combined five hours a day with another three hours of homework per day Monday through Thursday. We took trips every weekend to different parts of Germany to immerse ourselves in the culture. Some of these weekend trips were to Sachsenhausen, Lübeck, Köln, Koblenz, Wittenberg, Heidelberg, and Potsdam. The hours spent together doing homework and the weekends spent together on these trips helped me to meet some amazing people and make lasting friendships. Continue reading “From Germany to Europe”
