Trevor Nyeholt was born and raised in Hudsonville, Michigan. He is majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. This previous summer Trevor was a manufacturing intern at Yanfeng Automotive Interiors, in Holland, Michigan. Outside of Engineering, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as playing and watching sports. Trevor intends on entering the workforce following graduation.


Steven Tarske is a Mechanical Engineering student from Southeastern Michigan set to graduate in May 2018. His past experience includes internships with Nordson Corporation, a company that designs and manufactures dispensing equipment for adhesives, sealants, and coatings and at Ventra Manufacturing, a tier 1 rear lighting supplier for the automotive industry. Outside of Engineering, Steven enjoys swimming competitively as he was a member of Calvin’s varsity team for 4 years. He also enjoys riding and working on his motorcycle when he has spare time.


Jacob Vandekieft is a senior Mechanical Engineering student set to graduate in May 2018. He has completed two summer internships working in the CAD department designing and detailing parts for custom machines at a local machine shop called Alto Precision and continues to work there part time during the school year. He is also an automotive enthusiast and an avid follower of Formula 1. Additionally, Jacob enjoys sports and grew up playing soccer for much of his life. After graduation, Jacob hopes to obtain a suitable Mechanical Engineering position at a local company.


Kyle van Veen is a senior Mechanical Engineering student from Eastern Michigan with interests in Automotive Engineering.  Strong influence from the automotive culture of Detroit has given him a passion for all things automotive.  He has worked two internships for General Motors Corp. as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in the areas of gear machining and aluminum casting; and has recently accepted a full-time position as a Process Engineer.  Dream employment involves the cutting-edge development of next generation road and track vehicles.  Outside of work Kyle’s hobbies include being a backyard mechanic working on motorcycles, fabrication projects, and mountain biking.
