If I were to be totally honest, I have mixed feelings about the trip as a whole.
The positives mainly come in the form of what we were able to experience in Germany. Even though Berlin is a world-class city and there is plenty to see and do there (and it has the best doner kebaps), Heidelberg stood out as my favorite city for its beauty and its more relaxed feel. Wittenberg was also a definite highlight, as being able to see where Martin Luther lived and worked was fascinating. The class itself was interesting and enjoyable as well, especially when taught by our great professors.
At the same time, not everything was as great as it could have been. Between homework and regular weekend trips constantly using public transportation, one can get tired very easily, especially without a great bed on which to sleep. I also wished there were more group activities so everyone could bond a bit more.
