Eric is a mechanical engineering student from the Grand Rapids Area. He started out his engineering path in Science Olympiad where he learned how to build trebuchets and catapults with his father. In the Spring of 2017, he started working at FTC&H, a local Architecture and Engineering firm where he assists with the design and commissioning of HVAC systems in large commercial, academic, and office buildings. Eric is always searching for new opportunities to expand his knowledge within the engineering field.
Jessica is a senior mechanical engineering student from Kalamazoo Michigan. She mostly recently interned at Nissan Technical Center in the Human Engineering group where she reviewed Ergonomic numerical standards and 2018 Nissan Rogue Infotainment system. At Calvin, she competed on the women’s tennis team in singles and doubles for three years.
Ray is a senior mechanical engineering student from Oostburg, Wisconsin. Last summer he interned at Ariens Company, an outdoor power equipment manufacturer, in the Power Group where he worked designing drive components for zero-turn lawnmowers.
Cameron is a senior mechanical engineering student at Calvin College. He has had previous internships at Apex Controls in Hudsonville, MI and most recently at Shape Corporation in Grand Haven, MI. Through these internships, he has been able to get plugged into industry and work hard in the ever changing auto industry. Career goals of his include making his way into the aviation or aerospace industry where he can work on things he has great passion for. With a love of flying and traveling, these career paths would be right up his alley. Cameron loves to meet new people and connect with others through business and on a personal level!
