What’s It Like?… Here’s Just a Fraction

I absolutely love the structure of this summer program: 4 days of learning, 3 days of adventure, repeat.

That being said, time here in Europe has FLOWN by. I feel like waiting in the KE apartments, only days before our flight, was multiple months ago and not just one.

This is a picture of the three other girls and I on the evening we arrived in Berlin. Before the trip,I knew Delaney pretty well because she lives on my dorm floor at Calvin (2nd Bennink! LET’S GO!). However, I didn’t know Destiny nor Michelle very well then. It’s been about 40 days since that day, and I can no longer say that.  All three of these people are amazing and gorgeous inside and out. The men on the SPIG group have all been gentlemen, but the ladies have been sisters <3

Here is a picture from Cologne, Germany. Aside from a lot of intimidating, punk rock people walking around, I really enjoyed exploring the city that evening with my friends. After a hearty group dinner, I saw the Cologne cathedral, witnessed a dance battle, walked across a grand bridge, which was covered in padlocks, and enjoyed some of the night life. Here are a few of the great goons that made that night so fun…

While the German experience has been indescribable, Delaney, Destiny, Michelle, and I have decided to take on Venice, Italy for our last week of being in Europe. I feel like I’m living out a dream 🙂 The night that this picture was taken, I enjoyed some great pizza, people watched by the river, and admired lots of beautiful italian architecture.
