Wet feet
The annual tide of the Tonle Sap lake rises up to the floorboards. Now during the dry season the channel to the main lake weaves among the stilt houses, stilt church, stilt school, (you get the idea)
Transportation
Navigating crowded streets in Siem Reip is both chaotic and smooth. The cars, trucks, busses, and bikes moves through city intersections with surprisingly fluid motion. So, we rented bikes and went for it. 👍
Time for school
Some students went to the Mustard Seed Elementary School and some to NIBI (New International Bethany Institute(?)) where we interacted with students of all ages to help them with English skills. We learn much from these bridge building opportunities and a deeper realization how Christ brings all peoples together.
