Oh Snap

Since everybody else will be posting about the Cologne Cathedral, I thought I’d take a different route and post some pictures instead. I’ve enjoyed taking pictures for others, and like to look for a good shot.

On a separate note, the photobombing game has been strong.

This was from the first Sunday we were here. Nate posing it up. We miss you!

The view has been absolutely spectacular and certainly worth the long (long!) climbs from all of the cathedrals we’ve been up.

One of our first homework parties. Adam was apparently still adjusting to the time change and zonked out right in the middle of problem 23.
Oh, Dan. We tried to make him look like a Roman with the carrot tops from our (my and Toby’s) lunch on the afternoon we visited Sachsenhausen. Do you think we succeeded?Photobomb #1 by Professor De Rooy. He left this morning but he got them down pat by the end of his time here.  This was in Heidelberg on a bridge. It was a wonderful view of the city and the colorful buildings along the river.  Us girls wanted a picture with Professor Plaisier! Bet you can’t tell it was windy that day. It was taken at a lookout point at the top of Heidelberg Schloss (castle).

This was taken this past weekend in Heidelberg. We had an itch to go exploring and found some amazing views back up at the castle. The city lights were enchanting! Of course Peter, Adam, Patrick, and Andrew H. had to get their model shots in.

All of us gathered along the Rhein River. I think most of us touched the water, and one who shall remain unnamed drank it as well…   More photobombing in front of the Koeln Cathedral. As you can see, Professor De Rooy got really good at this. He was joined by Clay this time.

Part of an excursion for our German class last week at a monument and park overlooking the city. A very dysfunctional group picture.

All in all, it’s been great so far!
