When I first heard about this summer program in Germany, I knew I should definitely keep it in mind and consider it. The main reason that really compelled me to actually participate on this trip was the engineering international distinction. Because of my international upbringing, I really want to eventually work with an international company or do something related to engineering abroad. This trip was perfect for my interests. Also, Germany has many opportunities for engineers and is a great place to learn more ideas and about new cultures. With this program, I hope to further expand my engineering knowledge and to learn more about how German engineers work. My strength to the group is experience. Not engineering experience, but experience with living in other countries and traveling around unknown cities using all different types of transportation.
My prayer request for this trip is that I will be able to have peace even though we will be super busy with classes/homework and trying to get from place to place everyday. Also, please pray that jet lag will not become a major problem for me or any other students.
