Hey everyone!
I am Kevin Um, an upcoming junior studying Electrical Engineering at Calvin College. Here are a couple of things on my mind in this first week.
I decided to attend this program when I enrolled at Calvin, as I always wanted to travel to Germany and explore their culture. Although this program isn’t exactly a ‘trip’ for fun, I am still looking forward to being a student in a different country, city, and environment. Being especially good at directions is a strength of mine, so I hope to reel in more friends and professors that way.
I hope that the entire class is actively engaged with the learning material and becomes more proficient in critical thinking to solve problems regarding kinematics and equilibrium by the end of the five week period.
My prayer for the program is that all 28 students are able to pass the course, learn one additional fact about themselves, and return safely without losing any belongings.
